Album or Chimney Sweep Quilt

I saw an old quilt at the Gilbert Museum and it inspired me to make one. 

I like the block name 'Chimney Sweep.'  The blocks in this pattern resemble the bricks in the opening of the oldest style chimneys in America. 

Women also used this block a lot for album quilts. Quilts where each women in a community would make and sign a block and give the quilt to someone. 

Milk and Blossoms by Fig Tree with "Date Night"

This is a cute cute pattern I found. I did it on navy with "Date Night" fabric.

I had the hardest time getting a good picture of it. This is best I could get. haha

I enlarged it so i had to make my own measurements...

Need to make few more in others colors eh?
